Licence

Speakhold is released under the MIT licence. You may use, copy, modify and redistribute it, including commercially, provided the licence notice is kept. The full text is in the repository.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Wild Interactive Limited and the contributors are not liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from its use, as set out in the MIT licence.

Recording other people

You are responsible for complying with the recording and consent laws that apply where you and the other participants are. Speakhold does not announce that it is recording. In some places you must tell the other side; in some you need their agreement. Check before you press record.

Third-party services

If you use the Claude engine, your use of Anthropic's API or Claude Code is governed by Anthropic's terms and billed by them. Speakhold is not affiliated with Anthropic, Apple, Willow, Wispr, Superwhisper or Fireflies; those names are trademarks of their owners and appear only for comparison.

Changes

These terms may change when the app changes. The date at the top moves when they do.
